SIN First Class Check-in and SilverKris First Class Private Room, Part 1
Our amazing Singapore Airlines saga continued with an experience that rivaled and in many respects surpassed the LH Frankfurt FCT. As we approached Changi T-3, the progression of signs direct customers to doors by class of service. After all the signs, there is an elegant turn off for "First Class".
Private entrance where a personal SQ assistant and two porters greet our arriving car.
We were warmly welcomed by numerous SQ employees into a gorgeous reception facility. No check-in counters here, but rather check-in desks and chairs more reminiscent of a 5* hotel, with a discrete baggage conveyor behind all of the check-in desks.
After being escorted to our personal check-in agent, we were offered cold towels as our agent processed our boarding passes, verifying frequent flyer accounts for the trip (AC for me, CO for Mrs.).
After more pleasant conversation and some photo ops, we were given our boarding passes, Private Room invitation and baggage claim receipts.
Best wishes all around and our personal assistant escorted us from the check-in/reception lounge to passport control, into the beautiful Changi T-3 terminal and upstairs to the SKL.

Less than 20 minutes to get to Changi this morning. And a left turn to the separate First Class check-in lobby.
Where we were met by two Porters and a Personal Assistant.
Now this is the way to check-in for a flight.
After we checked in, our PA escorted to First Class departure door and Passport Control.
We were the only two at Passport Control and were in the beautiful Changi concourse in no time.
Up to the SilverKris Lounge. One glimpse of our First Class boarding passes and we were welcomed and escorted thru the First Class (Star Alliance) lounge to The Private Room.

Mrs. SFO had delicious scrambled eggs.
My Vietnamese Pho with Beef was outstanding.

At around T-40, we headed downstairs and security for Gate A5.

Singapore Airlines First Class Check-in and The Private Room at Changi
With a 9:30am departure, I arrived at Changi at around 7am to check-in. Very nice private and civilized First Class check-in facility.
Passport control before entering the terminal. Security is at the gate.
Singapore renovated and actually moved The Private Room. Very nice lounge although no tarmac views.
The house champagne is the wonderful Taittinger Comtes
The breakfast menu, although a little worn from re-use.
And the menus for the rest of the day...
After breakfast, I spent another 30 minutes before heading to the gate.
