Air France La Première Check-in and Lounge at Paris CDG

After three wonderful days in Paris, it’s time to go home. And there is no better way to travel than Air France La Première at Paris CDG. Elegant private check in area where you relax while a Personal Assistant who takes your passport, checks you in and returns with your boarding pass. Then escorts you to passport control, security and the fabulous La Première Lounge, the best airport lounge in the world and the only lounge with a Michelin star chef. The La Première Lounge features an Alain Ducasse restaurant with great food and fine wines. We relaxed in the lounge and then enjoyed lunch and especially les coquillettes jambon/truffe noir, prior to being driven to our plane for the 12 hour flight to Los Angeles.

Our La Première limo driver picked us up at Plaza Athénée at 10am and dropped us off 45 minutes later at Porte 14 of Terminal 2E.

Where porters meet us and take our luggage to the La Première check-in lounge.

After check-in, our personal escort to passport, security and the La Première Lounge.

Beautiful and styllsh lounge.

The only airport lounge with a Michelin star restaurant.

Lunch chez Alain Ducasse.

My Confit duck foie gras starter, with warm brioche.

And the signature dish - coquillettes jambon/truffe noire.  The world's best mac and cheese!

And my rum baba / baba au rhum for dessert.

Air France La Première to Los Angeles

Sad to leave Paris but if one must, it doesn’t get any better than Air France La Première and the elegant private single row 4 seat cabin, one of the best First Class cabins in the skies.

From the Lounge, we were escorted downstairs to our private car and the short drive to today's gate.

Down our private jet bridge to the La Première cabin.

Flawless service from our wonderful LP flight attendant Sophie.

Since we were full from lunch in the La Première Lounge, we relaxed and/or slept for some 5 hours before our delicious dinner. And then relaxed for the remaining four hours of the flight.

Showtime, La Première style.

Mrs. SFO777 decided to go healthy.

Moi, not so much.   OMG, fabulous foie gras.

And comté ravioli with mushroom sauce.

Decisions, decisions...

Oh yeah!

Almost to LAX.

Merci Sophie et Air France for a wonderful flight!

As we deplaned, our PS rep was waiting to escort us to PS for private CBP, our private lounge, then private TSA for the drive back to Terminal 7 and our connectiing United flight home to Denver.

Back to PS Private Suite LAX

The best part of LAX is… avoiding LAX with PS at LAX, the Private Suite terminal at LAX. Our PS rep met us at the end of our Air France jet bridge, and escorted down the gate elevator to our private limo across the tarmac to the PS terminal and private CBP immigration and customs, where we were the only passengers.

Someone is tired.

After 90 minutes or so in our PS suite, private TSA and then to our waiting BWM 7 series for the drive around the LAX tarmac to our United flight home to Denver. Once again, PS at LAX is the only way to deal with LAX.
