While we were waiting for our room, we found a nearby cineplex and decided to try to go to the 4:30p showing of the new Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper movie, Joy. Once we settled into our suite, we headed out for Queen Street and Event Cinemas.
Strangely designed complex that seemed void of any entrance signs and directions. Once we found the box office... it was at the concessions stand... the theatre was quite comfortable.
We headed down for a late breakfast before today's wine tour.
And quite possibly the best Eggs Benedict ever.
From the helicopter tour, we headed into Queenstown and Skyline Queenstown, the gondola ride to the top of Bob's Peak, with a great view of the city, Lake Wakatipu and the surrounding mountains.
After 10 minutes on the glacier, we lifted off and headed towards Milford Sound.
What a glorious day for a helicopter tour... brilliant blue sky, no wind and +16C temps on the way to +26C today. We met our personal pilot Alfie who does a lot of movie work including aerial shots for all of the Lord of the Rings movies.
