After a wonderful visit to Cape Town and Antarctica, it’s time for the long 24 hour trek home to Denver via Emirates.

With an 11am arrival back from Antarctica, I had 7 hours before my Emirates flight. Fortunately, the Emirates Lounge is open all day and I was able to shower and relax before boarding.
Although I was exhausted, never too tired for a pre-departure glass of Dom.

I went to sleep right after take-off and woke up some 6 hours later.

With a nearly 4 hour Dubai connection and headed for the A First Class Lounge.
Checking out the wine coolers to see if there was anything new in the last 4 days.
