Heading home to Denver
Heading Home to Denver
We arrived at the Kona Signature FBO around 10:30am for our anticipated 11am departure.
A few minutes later, we were escorted onto the tarmac to our G-IV.
Hawaiian 717 taxing by for take-off.
Aww...
The kids are all over the place as the crew preps for departure.
And finally strapped in for taxi and take-off.
And we're off.
Gorgeous views on our climb out of Kona.
Time for a drink.
After the kids had lunch and were down for a nap, lunch time for the grown ups. Today's menu with catering by Twin Engine Catering - Kona.
The mahi mahi and ahi were delicious.
Kailiua pork quesadillas.
On and on. LOL.
Thanks goodness for iPads and Paw Patrol.
... and Cocomelon.
Some 4.5 hours after departure, approaching the California coast and Los Angeles.
Mid-flight snack.
Once again, iPads were a godsend.
More than Six and half hours after departing Kona, we're over Denver and on approach to Centennial.
And safely on the ground.
What a fun and memorable weekend trip. Thanks for following along.
