Exploring Split

Late morning, we took a taxi for to the old walled city.

A little reminiscent of Dubrovnik but smaller and without the water views

OK, now this is cool.  Diocletian's palace with 'Oculus' or hole in the roof.  

And the inevitable once a trip evil eye.  LOL.

Back at the hotel, we relaxed on our terrrace.

For dinner tonight, Mrs. SFO777 decided no mas to fancy meals.  We headed out from the hotel...

... and found Bakra, a great steak and pizza resto just a few minutes away.

Oh yeah.  

One of the best pizzas we've enjoyed in a long time.

And then back to the hotel to pack and get ready to head home.
