Lyon to Zurich in Swiss Business

Since we had a rental car and were unfamiliar with Lyon St-Exupery, we left a little early to be on the safe side.  Arrived at Terminal 2 in about 30 minutes. 

Beautiful new airport train station.  

Very nice and large check-in concourse.

There was no one at security and we were thru in no time.  Our gate and the Salono Lounge were conveniently located just inside security.

Solano Lounge is a small, spartan but pleasant contract lounge.

At T-30, we headed out to the gate.

And boarded down the stairs and onto to tarmac.

The were only 3 Business Class seats which means two coach seats, the aisle with the window seat blocked.  We were fortunate to get both bulkheads 1A and 2F, both with tons of legroom.

Nice views along the way.

And a very nice snack of ham and cheese sandwich with chocolate mousse.

An on time arrival but at a remote apron position. Not to worry as our private bus was waiting to shuttle just the two of us to the terminal.

But first I had to retrieve our gate check carry-ons.

Not quite a Lufthansa S class but more than adequate.
